Our under 14 girls player, Emma Hansberry, has reached the final thirty in the Irish schoolgirls trials held recently in athlone.

Well done to all our players who played for the Sligo-Leitrim FAI emerging talent squads in the various friendly fixtures over the weekend.

Futsal is the latest craze to hit the club with Futsal teams in action on the finals sunday on December 20th in Sligo IT.

Our under ten squads next blitz will now be on Sunday 14th December due to pitch availability and the Christmas santa claus in strandhill on Sunday afternoon next.

Our soccer sisters section is continuing to thrive with new girls signing every week. This section is headed up by Finola Monaghan supported by Mirimam Cunningham, Aisling Osborne, Orla O Halloran and Aoife Grennan.

Our under eight squad for the Sligo-Leitrim futsal tournament at Sligo IT wAs notified on saturday afternoon last. The futsal tournament is a pilot programme being run by the league and is run at the superb indoor facilities at sligo IT on Saturday mornings. Our first game is on saturday morning next at 11:15am.

Former Strand Celtic and Sligo Rovers player, John Lynch, was appointed as the manager of our senior team last week.

The club are running a football camp over the halloween break for all kids between the ages of 8 and 12.
