Our senior team exited the FAI junior cup on Sunday morning last after conceding two early goals against a strong Kinsale team.

Our under 12 development side were unfortunate not to come away with a share of the spoils during last Saturdays under 12 development league game in strandhill community park.

Our under 16 side won a hard fought victory over near rivals Saint Johns on Saturday afternoon last winning by the odd goal in five. This was a real battle which we just edged. It maintains our position near the top of the table.

Our under 12 development side were on the wrong end of a 6-3 scoreline on Saturday afternoon last. Despite this it was a great perfroamnce with some superb football being played by both sides.

Our under 12 white development side maintained their good form with a two all draw at home to Saint Johns. In a game in which both sides played some nice football a draw was a fair result.

Our senior team went to the top of the table on Sunday morning last with a very close one goal victory over a resolute Calry Bohs side at a cold Calry Community park.

Our under 12 white squad kept up their good form with a victory over a strong Calry side on Saturday morning last. Our goals were scored by Killian Egan, Shay Doherty and Cian BRee. Well done to the squad on another fine performance.

Strand Celtic Whites continued to set the pace in the Under 12 development league by beating Yeats United Cubs by 4-2 in Oxfield on Saturday last.

UNDER 18 LEAGUE: MERVILLE UNITED 0 STRAND CELTIC 3

Our under 18 team had a great win over local rivals, Merville United, in a local derby on Saturday morning last. This was a great win for the Michael McDonagh managed team and sends them through to the next round.
