Ballymote
Strand Celtic played great free flowing football, passing well and tackling hard. Both teams had chances but failed to penetrate the well organised defences. Grainne Egan was magnificent as sweeper, controlling the backs and ensuring that we did not concede a goal. Amber Ferry and Ellen Monaghan worked hard in midfield, tackling well and getting forward when needed.
Both teams fought hard and a draw was a fair result for such an enjoyable even game.
