Our under 12 white squad kept up their good form with a victory over a strong Calry side on Saturday morning last. Our goals were scored by Killian Egan, Shay Doherty and Cian BRee. Well done to the squad on another fine performance.

Strand Celtic Whites continued to set the pace in the Under 12 development league by beating Yeats United Cubs by 4-2 in Oxfield on Saturday last.

Our soccer sisters section is continuing to thrive with new girls signing every week. This section is headed up by Finola Monaghan supported by Mirimam Cunningham, Aisling Osborne, Orla O Halloran and Aoife Grennan.

Our under eight squad for the Sligo-Leitrim futsal tournament at Sligo IT wAs notified on saturday afternoon last. The futsal tournament is a pilot programme being run by the league and is run at the superb indoor facilities at sligo IT on Saturday mornings. Our first game is on saturday morning next at 11:15am.

Our under ten squads turned out in force for the under 10 blitz organized by Cliffoney-Grange on Sunday afternoon last. In a windy and wild showgrounds are teams all looked resplendent in their new kits and played some great football despite the windy conditions.

Our under 18 team had a great win over local rivals, Merville United, in a local derby on Saturday morning last. This was a great win for the Michael McDonagh managed team and sends them through to the next round.
