Strand Celtic host a major golf classic each year that supports the development of the club's faclities in strandhill community park.

Details have been announced for the 2008 golf classic to be held in Strandhesill golf club on Friday 21st august. Club chairman, Mick McEnroe, recently announced details of the golf classic at Strandhill golf club at a launch event.

Sponsorship of a golf tee for the Friday costs €100. It is hoped to conclude the sponsors quickly so that the club can ensure maximum coverage for the various materials being produced for the weekend. Sponsors will have their name on all documentation associated with the golf outing and also a sign will be displayed in a prominent position at each tee. In addition the club will be including the sponsors in the strand celtic newsletter and on the club website – www.strandceltic.com

Over forty teams are expected to take part. There are some superb prizes including televisions and high quality golf bags. Please contact any of the following people to confirm a team:
