Brian is valuable member of the squad who can slot in at a number of different positions. He was a regular in the Irish U-17 squad, under Brian Kerr.

He initially came to prominence in his younger days with Dublin club Lourdes Celtic and became a regular in the Irish Under-17 squad, then under the management of Brian Kerr. 

Brian was signed by Bohemians and collected their young player of the year award in 2003 but it was during his spell at UCD that he flourished, helping the reach the eircom League Cup final in 2005 and gaining selection for the league’s representative side for the four-nations tournament.  

Gannon was last with Monaghan United before agreeing terms with Sporting Fingal.
