Sporting Fingal FC is delighted to support an upcoming FAI/Fingal County Council/NDSL coaching workshop aimed at all grassroots football coaches.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday 31st August from 6.30pm – 10pm at the Oscar Traynor Coaching and Training Centre in Coolock. Featuring a mix of guest speakers and practical sessions, the workshop will include input from FAI Technical Director Packie Bonner, FAI Underage International Manager John Morling, Sporting Fingal Manager Liam Buckley and Head Coach John Devine as well as new appointed Technical Director of the NDSL, Mitch Whitty.
Paul Keogh, Fingal County Council FAI Development Officer said “This promises to be an invaluable evening for all grassroots coaches and is being supported by the FAI coach education department and Fingal County Council’s Sports Office. The content will be mainly technical and game-related, and allow coaches to observe the very latest in terms of modern coaching trends. Also having Sporting Fingal involved will enhance it greatly as one of their main objectives is to enhance football in the community.”
This was endorsed by Liam Buckley, Sporting Fingal Manager who said “Sporting Fingal FC is delighted to be involved in this upcoming coaching workshop. Football in the community is the cornerstone of Sporting Fingal FC and I have no doubt that this will be a beneficial evening for coaches so we are delighted to lend our support”.
