 William (Bill) Dodd

1934-2010

After a fine career as a player with Milwall, Bray Wanderers, Shelbourne and Transport, Bill joined Home Farm in 1980 and along with Jim Conarty and Brendan McCormack organised the famous mini-league which was the starting place for innumerable great players for the Club i.e Ronnie Whelan, Stephen McPhail, Owen Garvin etc,

Bill went on to manage teams for the Club most notable of which was a team which included Richard Dunne and Stephen McPhail.

Finally Bill was elected to management where he served the Club with honour and for a number of years was our delegate to the Leinster Senior League.

We all have great memories of Bill and he will be greatly missed by everybody at Home Farm.
