The club were delighted with to host some of the Connacht under age boys finals in Strandhill on Sunday morning last. With beautiful weather and the pitches in top class condition thanks to Maurcie Mongahan the games were of a high quality.

Sincere thanks to all the local volunteers who turned out to help including the warriors festival for their help witrh stewarding. While it always dangerous to name people it is important to acknowledge the great work done by Maurice Monaghan in getting the pitches into top shape after having over 70 games played on them all season, Monica Higgins who co-ordianted all the shop and catering which was very welcomed, Justin Harte who organised all of the security fencing and presentation area. So again thanks to all the local people who put their shoulder to the wheel and put the Strandhill and ransboro area in such a good light. The club are also very grateful to the Connacht fA and to the Sligo Leitrim league for providing our club with the opportunity to host the games.
