Strand Celtic put a development plan in place for the development of the club's grounds at Strandhill Community Park in 2006 under the auspices of club chairman, Mick McEnroe. This was done in conjunction with the trustees of Strandhill Community Park and with the support of a range of other sporting groups in the area including Strandhill Tennis Club, Strandhill Warriors Festival and Strandhill National School.
