To celebrate the long history and tradition between one of Europe’s leading clubs and the people of Ireland, the Celtic Community Academy is offering young players between 4 and 16 years of age the chance to train and play for a four days this easterwith professional coaches from Celtic in selected areas of Ireland. Sligo has a long history and connection with Glasgow Celtic including its founder Brother Walfrid and in more recent times through the former Sligo Rovers manager Willie McStay and has been chosen as one of the venues.
The camps are held in Sligo at Strandhill Community Park. The camp is open to all BOYS and GIRLS between the ages of 4 and 16.
Last years camps were an outstanding success with the camp full to capacity and some superb coaching at the state of the art facilities in Strandhill, home of Strand Celtic FC.
If you want to put yourself on show to the coaching staff of the best supported club in Ireland, or just want to learn new skills and meet new friends this easter, simply complete the application form and return it to us with your full payment. Applications should be returned as soon as possible, as places on each course are strictly limited.
Please note that this camp is being hosted in strandhill but is available to all children irrespective of their club.

Vital to any success in football is the quality of coaching, and under the guidance of Head of Youth at Celtic, Chris McCart, we’ve got some of the best in the business.
